Just got this tractor late in the fall and have only cut a few times with it. It came with a 60" belly mower. It worked great, then suddenly, the PTO nob won"t keep the independent clutch engaged - you have to hold it up to keep the drive running. It makes it a little tricky to drive and shift with one hand while cutting! Any ideas? Thanks!

I cant for the life of me remeber what its called, but its got a ball in it, its shot! Im wanting to say cam lock or something. Mine was doing the same thing, but I lucked up and found a NOS unit in a closing dealership, so I just swapped the whole works out.

check your throwout bearing it may have been installed backwords, when this is done, you lose about an inch of travel on your shaft. I experienced it myself and had to break the tractor in half to correct, but now it works just fine. I had the problem on a 1949 standard cub and a 60" Woods belly mower
