I resealed my Belt Pulley Drive but one of the shims ( part munber 49251D ) was damaged during disassembly and I have a leak through the shims. A couple of questions:
I don't have a micrometer so can anyone tell me the thickness of the two lighter shims ( # 49251 and 49252 )? The 49252's are available new but not the thicker 49251.
Also should I apply a film of liquid gasket between the shims? I can't imagine these old shims will ever seal with only metal to metal contact.
Thanks

Spray both sides of the bent shim with copper coat, let it dry to near completely dry (just barely tacky) and reassemble. No Idea of the thickness. JimN

Cant tell you the thickness of the shims but mine had four of the same size on the Super A. When I put it together I smeared greese all over both sides. Hasnt leaked yet.
