Ill be able to get it outta there and bring it home and start in on it as I was telling him about the ertl model of one that ertl was making
and I wqas teiinng him the price so,
if I can get it outta there and bring it home then ill get him the model, and make him feel good and me too,
He was telling me that it hadn't run since 59 and it was sitting beside a grainery, all forlorn looking so i have to get it outta there and then bring it home as I cant stand it sitting therer and not able to run it or just weeds going up around it,

Those TD-14's were a beast of a tractor. I wish I could get my hands on one. My neighbor had one when I was growing up and you could always tell where he was by going to a high spot and watching for the quaking aspen trees to fall over. He was pushing them out of the ground to clear off more fields. Good luck and remember, the reason that we fix these things up is to have fun, not to torture ourselves!!

Best of luck, a non running tracked unit is one of the most difficult things to transport.
They are often difficult just to move, even pulling on the top of the tracks forward, they resist first moving. then turning them with probably rusted up track clutches, getting them up a loading ramp to pull them onto a lowboy trailer with the capacity to do it. Then getting it situated and chained down. Then off the trailer. and organized at its new location. Not a low buck IH Cub type of task. Engine repairs can cost 4000 if you do it, and 3 times that if it is taken to be done.
Sentimentality is not a desirable reason to tackle a machine like this one. JimN
