Hello all.

Still alive. 8) I saw a post where some fellers were wondering where I was, so I thought I would say howdy.
Unfortunately money and time are tight, so I've moved very little on my H. My birthday is coming up *cough*March4th*cough* and I'm hoping to get a little spending money from family with which I can throw into the tractor. My goal is to have it running and driving by April 18th so I can take it to the big tractor show, and the original owner can drive it once again in front of the whole club.
*crosses fingers*

Mike, have not heard from you in a long time! Let us know when the H is running and post some pics. I had my 15th birthday on the 10th of January and got some tractor parts for my H.

Happy birthday Mike.

Andy.

I breeze in every couple days to see if anything is interesting. The Tractor Vet thread caught my attention, and saw my name mentioned.
Expect an e-mail soon. I have a couple of non-essential parts I'm curious if you have on that old H.

Don't think I wouldn't like to! But I live in the middle of the state. No surfing around here.

How is your H coming? I haven't seen any pic past the first spray of that grill! I haven't gotten a grill insert yet, so haven't tried to use your patch yet. But I'm hoping to have one beginning of March.

the h grille was for a customer, i just got my motor back for the super m from the"engine guy' gotta start assembly on that. had the crankshaft pulley over at the machine shop, was gonna speedy sleeve it, but the machine shop cut the pully down and pressed a repair sleeve over it, then re machined it. looks real good.

I still wish you had kept the Belt Pulley, but oh well.
Man, that thing is coming along! I can't wait to see it done! Thanks for the pic updates.

You "made" your own dot bolts! That's darn cool! I have to scour the junk yard for mine and hope they are in good enough condition!

Which reminds me... I need to e-mail GeneMO and see about some stuff from his parts H.

See, You cant talk about someone on here for fear they may be listening. I remember when we had party lines. One of the neighbors was notorious for listening in on conversations. You could generally hear a "click" unless they were real good a picking up the receiver. Anyway the term the locals used for someone who listened in was "a Piker"? Dont know the history of that term. Guess Mike has been piking.

Well, "hello" back at you! You're supposed to let us know where you are. We're your "tractor parents" and we worry about you if we can't hear you playing in your garage or backyard.

To each his own but when I reinstalled the platform bolts I put good bead of slilcon sealer around the hole, then a flat washer to seal, then the lock washer, then the bolt. Tighter than a tick now, No water ging in from those holes anyway.

I was wondering what happened. I thought you got it running and went on a 2000 mile tractor drive and forgot to tell us or the Navy had you towing bombers or pulling carriers into dockside with it! Lol!
