Same thing happened to me a couple of years ago.

That tractor will hold all of 18 gallons of oil. Did you replace the filters too?

If the front pump is a little on the weak side, it might take a while to get all the air out of the system.

Don't think I'd even try to move it until the steering works insuring you have adequate oil to the charge pump also.

Just keep working that power steering until it takes a prime and then see if it will move.

"Have no hyd steering breaks will not pull itself." might help if you rewrite this line plainly. I'm not sure what all you are saying here. Brakes have nothing to do with hydraulics on this tractor, nor does the lack of engine power. The steering does not need to be bled out.

You have an air lock turn steering wheel back and forth may have to jack up front wheels

"Have no hyd steering breaks will not pull itself."

??

I too am confused by that statement.....almost sounds like pump, but I didn't think a 656 came out with Hyd brakes: I know a 756 did, 'cause I had to replace a pump in one.
