I too am a big fan of copper. No rust, takes vibration a bit better, and easier to work.

Now, the question is, how original do you want to get?

I always made them out of copper. It was easier to flare and the brass fittings would strip out before you fouled up the threads on the sediment bowl or the inlet for the carb. Just my two cents.

rubber lines look gross and sloppy and are not original.thats my opinion.

You can buy original from OEM or can use a steel brake line by putting a vibration loop in it and it looks just like original.

A fuel line like this will take the vibration and is easy to makeup and install. Hal

You can make one out of brake line. Search under my handle for posts last summer regarding my attempts to replace the gas line on our B. There should be a number of them. I don't like the rubber ones and everyone said not to use copper. Read my archives....lots of good stuff.

The answer to your second question is yes. Part # is in the parts manual, or look at the online manuals on caseih.com.
