Cub hydraulic noises, zings, and hoses jump

I installed a bypass block and a single spool valve on my Cub for a loader.

The hydraulic reservoir is full and I attached an external reservoir that's also full and located above the gas tank.

Now even after running the tractor for about an hour, I'm still getting noise from the hydraulics every few seconds: It's a very distinct "ZZZZZ ZINGGG!" noise, and the hoses to the spool valve jump.

I've been avoiding the issue for a while, but spring's coming and any ideas what to look at will be much appreciated.

You need to go to cub.com and ask that question . I think it is air in the system gives the noise . The bleeding process for a normal system is .

1. Get tractor warm .

2. move hyd lift lever foward and back several times making sure you go full foward and full backward everytime. 3. Pull the lever all the way back and shut the motor off.

4. Now check fluid level.

This is right out of the book.

The pump is very easy to rebuild if your thinking it's that.

If your loosing hydr oil watch the oil level in the motor, it will rise.

The pump seals let the hydr oil into the crankcase when bad . These things tend to be a pain. I had everything rebuilt by the dealer and it still wines ....
