W-6 W-9, Ill get the 6 done enough and then get a 9 when the 6 is all fixed up and just about ready to be done, Ill get a W-9 that i wanted in the 1st place but settled on this 6 thats just as good but less power,
I like the deep chugging noise of a 9 too with a straight pipe,
im starting in on that 6 now and ill get it done about 4, or 5 month's I guess as im in no hurry,
Ill get a stright pipe for it too, and it'll be really cool,

I'll also chime in to mention my hearing loss from running an 806 and a 1256 in the field at full power for countless hours. And those had mufflers!

If you are going to do a straight pipe - use hearing protection of some sort and stay away from other people. There is nothing that irritates me more than those Harley riders with straight pipes blasting by me and damaging my hearing further... have some respect for the other people who share this world!

Good luck on the project.

Well best of luck, we are all waiting for the turn of wrench and questions. I must recommend a Muffler, Put a chrome pipe around a glass pack, or some method of moderating the sound. I have partial hearing loss from an H and an M with no mufler. It does not have to hurt to be doing damage. JimN
