I"m trying to get this moved and was trying to find out the approximate weight and dimensions of a Henderson loader for an A.

I have one on a B, it probably weights 2-300 pounds, don't seem to be real heavy. probably 8 foot long, 3-3-1/2 foot wide. I can measure mine if you want me to.

Check your email, I sent you some pictures of mine, if you want any other pics, let me know. I just put mine on a few months back, so I have not used it yet, but I can see where it is going to be as handy as a pocket on a shirt. Plus it adds some weight to front of tractor, they tend to be a little light in the front end.

Thanks JT. That should be close enough. I figured it didn't weigh too much since the front ends on these aren't all that strong. Does it steer alot harder with the loader on it?

Steers a little harder, I just got it about 3-4 months ago, so have not had time to play with it really, I was moving some snow with it a month ago, and with a bucket of wet snow, it did steer a little more difficult. A B also has a narrow front end, your A should be a wide front, so it will steer easier with the wide front over the narrow front, I would assume.

Are you guys using the CHAR-LYNN pump for your loaders as thats what i have on a loader i built for the B. I made it like the new stuff so i pull two pins ans the two on the cycls and the boom is off. I made a blade to push snow works fine. I have another B with the same pump and have a three pt blade on the back just use a two-way cycl for the center link and only use one side to pic up as down pressure just causes a traction problem.

Gene,
Mine uses a Char-Lynn pump. What is the possibility that you could take a picture of the snow bade and the rear blade and send to me. That really sounds interesting to me. If you can, please send to ihc103 at yahoo dot com.
