Just bought an older 450 international.

It has a Dual loader however the loader runs from a pump attached to the pto.

Can I use it for other pto attachments without removing pump?

Just like Allen said, need an extension or one of these fancy inserts:

Yepper,

All it takes is an extension.

Ours was made at a machine shop. The other end of the shaft is sliced in part way, a hold drilled all the way through and a bolt pulls a wedge into the other end - expanding it - and it stays in.

Cost around $40 a few years back, probably higher now due to fuel prices and high dollar steel. :o)

You can buy 'em at any tractor supply outlet for around $35. the pump is tied forward with the torque chain.

Thanks again guys.

I am a nitwit when it comes to design.

How does the pto extention stay in the pump?
