Did the TD18's of the 40/50's have both IH and Bosch fuel injector pumps fitted.

The early production had German Bocsh pumps. At the onset of WW2 International put thier own pumps on. All early tractors of that era had bocsh pumps.

The early ones could of had either brand. Have seen both, mostly the IH in line style.

The pair I saw last summer (TD-18 crawler and UD-18 power unit) both had IHC inline pumps.

I believe however the IHC pump is not a true "inline" pump. Rather it has a single (or maybe a dual?) plunger pump with an inline distributor mechanism.

Your analysis is correct, and the inlineness was a reflection of the line location. JimN
