Anyone know of a 15 inch standard width rim that will bolt up to an A, SA, 100, 130, 140 ? I have a front dirt blade, and the 4.00 x 19 tires just cut ruts in fresh dirt you are spreading. If I could put a 7.00 x 15 (or so), the front end weight would be spread in a wider footprint, and not rut up the dirt work so badly.

Steve: I have a set of 6.50x16 fron tires on my 130. Back when these tractors were new 4x16 rims were an option, usually they installed 5.50x16 tires front and 11.2x24 on back. You cant buy 16" replacment rims for the cast wheels anymore. They are still available for 140s with disc wheel.

My 130 had 16" wheels when new. To replace them I got 4.5x16 blank rims, made up 1/2" x 1-1/2" steel bands to weld inside the rim. That will fit snugly over the cast center, I then welded on lugs for bolting rim to the wheel. I wouldn't be without my 6.50x15 with front mounted blade, makes a huge difference. To make one of these tractor sit level with 6.50x15 you need 12.4x24 on rear.

The rims you now have have the three places where they bolt to the center correct. You need the 3x15 standard rim for the regular A. Now going to the 15in wont be a problem for your blade set-up. You can grind the center out of any 15in rim that will fit over the cast centers then weld three brackets to match. What size tires do you want to run. I have rims that will bolt on.
