I got my tractor stuck the other day and for the first time hit the traction lock to get a little boost as only one wheel was spinning. Nothing happened. Actually the peddel didn't go anywhere with me standing on it. Long story short I broke the loader trying to get out (another post) and can't figure out if I am opperating it wrong (manual just tells you where it is) or if there is a problem.

Sounds like it seized up...the diff lock pedal on those should push down easily, no fuss, and lock the rear good...

Sounds as if the pedal and linkage is just siezed up, so it"s out with your favorite brand of penitrating fluid and get it all freed off and working again. There is not a lot that can go wrong with them so I would not think it would be much more than this. Hope this helps, Richard.

Thanks Richard, With all the rain and freezing we have had lately it could be related to that getting in and freezing up.

I am going to get it in the shop and see what I can do with it.

Jeff

Rain and freezing sounds like fun, late summer here, 24 deg C today, good luck with your tractor!
