I am restoring a Farmall C. My Grill is in great shape except the screen that goes behind the grill was rusted badly. I have new screen and have it bent and fitted with one problem on the outside edges most of the little tabs that were bent that had held the previous screen is gone. I am looking for ideas to hold the screen in place is there and epoxy or something that can be used any ideas or solutions would be appreciated.

If you just stick the wire it will not bump up just find a scrap sheet and try it on it it works.

If it is clean you can fiberglass it to hold i have done it that way and it will hold but the metal has to bo clean. The rubber cement used for installing windshields works great also. The metal needs to be sandblasted or clean enough for any adhesive to stick. You could also mig weld it in spots but that mill cause some bumps on the other side.

I got into the same problem with a Super M the way I fixed it was to use a Mig welder and just stick the wire to the grill then cut it off short and use the short wire for the clip. This is quick easy and as strong as the OE clips.
