Okay,

Sorry again for the silly questions.

I've got to move that fan forward. Got the 5/16" nut loose on the impeller drive slide.

Do I just beat that little bolt out sideways or what? Don't wanna hurt it by doing something wrong.

Allan

Allen why not just put spacers under the bracket and move it out instead of trying to relocate the fan.

I am terribly interested in how this part turns out.

The propane Super M I bought last fall had a cracked fan and I decided that needed to be changed. The radiator was off and I had room to work. I tried spraying, heating, beating (gently), cussing but couldn't get the pin to budge. It was ready to fight to the death, Death Match '07. It didn't help that it had been out in the weather.

Problem was solved by taking fan, pump, pulley and all from a 450 and bolting it on the M! It had a non-cracked fan, better guts and someone didn't beat up the fan belt pulley.

Do you mean the 450 head?

Well, this 450 used to be a 450LP. Unfortunately, as I found it (Not mine), it has no head and lots of other parts gone too!

I would love to find a 450LP in one piece!

back that nut maybe 5/16? even with the end of the threads and use a flat punch and giver a little wack the bolt is tapered then the "wishbone" will come off watch those two bolts the "wishbone" rides on they are kinda flimsy. im thinking you gona have toget new ones that are longer because of the new spacer your needin

yes allan, with the nut loose rap it smartly with a brass drift on top of the nut and it should pop loose. if it doesn't hold your tongue between your teeth and hit it again.

You telling him to hit his tongue or the bolt? Not real clear and we wouldn't want to confuse Allan
