Boys, I don't want to jump to any premature conclusions, but it has been nearly two months since the TractorVet has posted here. I am concerned that, if he is plowing somewhere on the other side of the horizon, it would be a shame if there was not some way we here on this forum could not express our condolences to his family. Does anyone know him, or how to contact his family? Maybe someone could find out something? Again, I don't want to jump to any conclusions, but..... it has been a long time since we've heard from him. mike durhan

His name is Dan Rogers. He is located in Salem Ohio which is about 35 miles from me. I do have his phone number if anyone would need it.

I was by way of thinkin that he comes and goes as he gets busy. Been a lot of posting the past year about him disappearing. Handy guy I have to agree!

His name is Dan Rogers, and he lives somewhere east of Mansfield, OH. I just sent him an email, including a copy of Mike's post, to see if we can wake him up. Hopefully, all's well, and we'll be hearing from him soon. Sure hope so, 'cause he's sure an extremely valuable resource here, not to mention a pleasant and colorful character. If a guy had to pay for all the sound advice he's given over the years, they'd better get out the BIG checkbook.

Rogers is it!

Thanks.

I'll make some effort to see if I can see what's goin' on.

I've met him several times and know where he lives. I'm havin' a CRS spell that lets me remember his first name, but it's gonna take one of those moments about 2 a.m. when I sit upright in bed when I remember his last name. I'll put some effort in tomorrow and see if I can track him down.
