I have 53' SH that had an intake breather cover made of plastic. Over the last several years it has looked very fragile and shows deteriation. It has totally crumbled and gone away. Is there a replacement for this plastic shroud on the breather cover?
My brother has had a H for several years and it came with a short canning jar setup.
thanks
Randy S

I always liked that style better than the jar style - its what I remember as a kid. Am working on making replacements now, hope to have it figured out soon. Its a Donaldson air cleaner but haven"t been able to find replacement parts.

Someone has put a later one on your intake and you can still get new ones you wont like the price. Just take the whole top to your dealer and they can fix it.

None available that I know of. I always wondered if a guy couldn't make one out of a soda bottle/ or if you could find some clear tubing that size. On the other hand it does not have to be see-through to work and you could make it out of tin.
