I was looking at some pictures of farmall 460s and 460 utility s. I was wondering if the utility versions was a smaller version of the farmalls. do they way the same? can they pull the same amount of weight?

Joe: Larry has told you most of it. Castings from front of engine to rear axles are exactly the same. The front bloster and axle are different, the rear axles are different, rear wheels are different and sheet metal and platform are different.

On weight, bare bones shipping weight the Farmall having more cast will be heavier, however they can very easily be made to weigh the same.

the 460 Utility is a wheatland version whereas the 460 Farmall is a row crop version of the same tractor. Both have the same horsepower, therefore both should pull a 3 bottom plow. As to their weights, I can't answer that one.
