It seems I learn more and more about this plow as I go along... we pulled it out of a dark dusty corner of my buddie's shed. Now, I know for a fact this plow was N.O.S. in the crate at N.C. Pries IH in Nashville, Illinos. When we got it out, I saw that the blue seemed too blue on the coulters and joiners and the yellow a little too nice on the wheels. My friend informed me that the dealership assembled the plow, which he purchased at the auction. Although the vast majority of the plow still had its original paint, the joiners and coulters got "touched up" before the auction. It does appear to be the correct blue as it is the same hue as the older, untouched paint, but a bit brighter, if that makes sense. Now, here's the real sad part... He plowed with it. Not much. Just a couple of rounds at a show several years ago. Then it went into his barn, where it sat ever since. He did grease the coulters, shares, and moldboards, so there is no rust. For all intents and purposes, it is unused, but not quite "virginal" like I would have liked. Despite all of this, I still eagerly bought it. I've looked at a lot of plows over the years and this is without doubt, as good as you could ever find. Other than probably 200 yds of furrow, its unused. I hate that its been used, but hey, now I can actually use it once or twice and not feel TOO guilty about it. Imagine what it must be like to plow with a NEW 2-12" plow like this! I stuck one picture in the parts and pieces gallery, as I was trying to figure it out. If someone can walk me through it, I'll post several pictures here. Even though I had a more lofty idea of what it was, its still a fascinating piece to look at. I see the "optional image URL" box on the bottom of this new post form, but have no idea how to put these pictures on. I have them saved to my documents on my pc, so if someone can tell me how to do this, I'd really appreciate it. I looked further down at the "advanced posting tools" box, but can't figure out how to get the pict to appear in the post rather than in some other gallery.....

Try using tinypic.com and when the word Browse appears click on it, then select your picture and after selecting, click on save and then on Upload Image. In about 40 seconds you will get a web site similar to this:>Link

You>Link put your picture web site in the Optional Image URL without any symbols such as these [ ].

When you click on Preview your picture should appear. Hal
PS; Here's a web site with the instructions.
