Is the pipe plug in front of the left brake the correct fill level on a M? Where is the oil addition port? Also what is the correct oil ? Thanks

Use 80-90 GEAR LUBE only. Do not use Hy-Tran, just Gear Lube. Pour into the transmission until you get to the level of the check plug on the side of the transmission.

I work for a small oil packageing plant we make alot of differint oils I use apg 250 in my old trannys it is alot heaver than 80/90 but not as heavy as the old tar they used years ago but sure makes the gears and bearings nice and qiut.Was going through some old addative drums the other day getting rid of what we do not use anymore I heat and mix them in with oil and burn them in waste oil stove. came across 7 drums of lead gas addative I hid them!!! I can use that in my old tractors .

Might want to pour in just 10 gallons, and then have a look see. It's a lot easier to pour more in, than it is to take some out.

It's a 1-1/2" pipe plug with a square hole in it located on the top deck probably under your foot.
Yes, the plug on the left is the level.
