I ordered manuals for the baler from CNH dealer.
Does the bale chamber have adjustable or replacable slides to take up for any wear?
Thanks, Richard

Richard, The plunger runs on rollers and steel rails. Once properly adjusted it will run for many thousands of bales. If the baler has set for a time or left outside make sure the rollers are free to turn. Check the steel rails for wear at the spot the rollers are at when the hay knifes meet, this will be a good indication of how much it has been used. I replaced them after about 400,000 bales. Your manual has good instructions for adjusting the plunger and sharpening the knifes. They should be done about every 20,000 bales. Good luck, Chuck
