i put together a motor for my pulling m and the front cover oes not matched the distributor drive is there two different distributor drives the bottom bolts line up but the top ones are a half a hole off it feels like the gear teeth are messing but i don't know any help would be appreciated thanks eric

if the holes dont line up, the drive you have is either for a very late model m or a super m. the top two bolts holes are off by that much. that is the problem with putting the live pump on the older m's.
