Have seen an IH 2400 baler for sale localy, and am wondering if these have any peculiar problems.

I haven't stopped yet to see what they're asking, any idea what a fair price would be? Looks to be in average condition. I would be using it behind my SM.
Thanks

Tex, the 2400 is a depedable machine that last for years. They however do not make the nice tight rolls of todays rollers. I have used one since new in 1980, and have had very little trouble out of. A few bearings and belt splices are it. It has rolled many thousands of rolls, and still going.
