Angle of front wheels on an F-20

My F-20 restoration will have full steel on it. Already have the wheels just haven't assembled the tractor yet. My question is whether or not the narrow treads with the narrow front would have the angled spindles or straight? I bought a new bolster and it has the straight spindles. Maybe it doesn't matter and they came with both. Trying to be original. I think they call the angled front spindles the narrow row crop. My parts book shows it as casting 16283DY and the straight spindles as 15052DBY. What is involved in switching spindles?

I think they are all angled to some degree. I looked at my 1929 Regular on rubber and F-20 on steel, and they both have a slight angle to them. Now, there may be some with more angle than others, but looking at how close my tires/wheels are at the bottom versus the top, there is obviously more space at the top then the bottom. The F-20 looks to have less angle then the Regular, but it is still angled.

I believe the angled spindles to be quite rare. I have only ever found one.

Scott, I think it has to do with steel or rubber On my F-20 stright with rubber, on my Regular it is angled on steel. I never tried putting rubber on Regular spindel. I will watch to see what other answers you get. Good luck oldiron 29
