I have a T5 crawler with a blown head gasket. I have no idea what year this thing is and was wondering if anyone might know what the engine size was for these crawlers. It has a 4 cylinder gas engine and what I can read on the data plate is 2847. Don't know if thats the serial number or what. Can anyone help?

Thanks to all-Tore apart last night and found none of the head bolts were tight. The gentleman that owns the crawler had the engine rebuilt last summer, but started having problems with it running hot and smoking a little. Loose head bolts, valves not adjusted right-amazing how the thing even ran.

The part # Hector posted is correct according to the parts book I have for the T-4,T-5,TD-5 crawlers.
The gasket should be readily available from Case/IH or any number of after market venders.

Checked a certain Case/IH dealers web site & the head gasket is shown in stock for $ 35.00 USD.
For some reason this site won't let me post the name of the dealer, keeps blocking the post as containing obsene words when I include the name????

Thanks, Gives me a starting point. A gentleman dropped it off and had no idea what year it was or the engine size himself.
