I am looking for a replacement float support bracket for my carburetor in a Farmall H
I went to caseih.com and found the part number is 45117D SUPPORT/Retired SUPPORT, float lever pivot.

I am noticing the "Retired" part of the description. Does this mean they no longer carry it? If so, where might I find one, since mine was broke and had to be welded which may or may not hold. I'd like to just get a new one.

I also noted that some parts require a carburetor number. Mine does not have a tag on it. How do I know what carb I have?

Also, I want to order the Governor spring at the same time, since I know when I adjusted it awhile back I had to shim some adjustment nut beyond it's limit to compensate for a weak spring, so I may as well order that at the same time.

On the same CaseIH website it shows 49407DBX SPRING SPRING, governor (Optional with 357012R1)
Model: FARMALL H TRACTOR (1/39 -- 031 ENGINE, GOVERNOR 357012R1 SPRING, VALVE SPRING, governor (Optional with 49407DBX)
Model: FARMALL H TRACTOR (1/39 -- 031 ENGINE, GOVERNOR

How do I know which governor I have based on these numbers? I'm not even sure what that spring, valve is, since it's not shown on the diagram. Part number 49 ONLY shows the spring.....

Thanks

Horse-George

Why is it that the hardest part of fixing any mechanical stuff, is getting the parts.

Horse-I found the float support bracket at a Napa store. This was a few years ago. Can't help you with the governor spring. Good Luck-John
