was wondering if hydraulic valve assembly is still available for a 340 international utility tractor. my 340 has a transmission driven hydraulic pump, with a valve assembly housing mounted under front dash / steering housing and has 2 pipes running back to a small block wich 2 hoses connect to 3 point cylinder. also is there any way to bypass the 2 pipes wich run from front valve housing to rear block with a more modern hose / quick connect assembly?/thanks,Jim

I think the 460U hydraulics are similar to, possibly the same as your 340U. If you do not have a parts manual you can look at the diagrams on www.caseih.com and confirm what I am talking about. IH made elbows that screw into that block into which quick disconnects can connect to. However, that box is specifically made for the fast hitch. My 460U has two additional remote controls, one exits on the left side of the dash, one on the right side. With 3 valves, there is also one for the rear, which I don't have. If you have only two remotes, it seems that hoses could be run from them to quick disconnets in the rear. If you have 3, you should already be set up to run to the rear. Best to look at the diagrams.
