I haven't been around much recently and thought that I should check in. Keith and Shawn, how is the C restoration going? Is it done? If so, how did it turn out? Hugh, I see that you're still around. Beat up and monks recently? How is it going up in the big white north? Migraine, I hope you're surviving. We are seeing our share of snow and ice down on the Olympic Peninsula. Although my truck route takes me 300-400 miles per day, it keeps me west of the passes and out of the avalanches. My Super-C is still torn down, awaiting the engine rebuild before I do the restoration. The good news is that my lady gave me a used industrial compressor for Christmas. Now I can finally get a decent sandblaster and get things rolling.

Chris, was just thinking about you the other day, wondering what happened to ya. I happened up on pic. of your SC while back with WFE.

We are close to the end of our project. I found a WFE in Moses Lake, did a few repairs to it and have it put on Shawn's SC. Almost everything is painted and put back together. Our hold up is trying to find another new Power Mark rear tire by Kelly tires, they have quit making this particular tread design. So I guess we'll just have to find one that is close and call it a day.

Still need to install decals we got from Rustyfarmall.

Couple examples of paint job as you will notice, I decided to paint the alternator red also to blend in a little better.

Oh we are enduring the winter. Lost a few days of work this week with the snow but gives more time to work on tractor stuff. Been working on finishing a 650 Diesel which now runs good and almost everything working, pretty neat old tractor actually that will be repainted later, working on a 450 Farmall gas putting in a new clutch and TA and then fix leaks and ready for the paint room, getting started on 350 Diesel Farmall binging back to original condition and then hopefully to the paint room, just got a 136 fast hitch disk and took it to the paint room yesterday, and picked up a 106 Cub Cadet with front blade that we will work on today for awhile. Hope to move some snow with it yet this winter. And a few other projects that come up so if you are bored and need a fix on I.H. iron give me a call and well have lunch and get in a few hours. Migraine, it sounds like you're keeping busy. You must have quite the collection by now. Thanks for the invite.

Chris: I must be missing something, you keep refering to this subject of beating up on monks. Send me an e mail, something else unrelated I want to ask you.

Even though you say a your new air compresser is commercial doesent mean it is capable for sand blasting. Its not pressure its CFM for sand blasting and you need aaround60 or more unless you want to take a week to do what could be done in a day. You can build a blast tank out of a 100lb LP tank as its not hard to do but the first thing you need to know is what psi and cfm your compresser will furnish as that will determine which nozzle and sq ft per minute you can do.

Yep Gene you're right. My compressor only puts out 20 cfm. But that is enough air with an 1/8 inch nozzle to do what I need.
