Been using an electrolysis tank for a couple months on my smaller F-20 parts and it works amazingly well at removing rust and paint. Removes most paint overnight in fact. Had a brain fade yesterday (Bud Light) and hooked up the 2 terminals backwards trying to clean up my air intake pipe. Pipes got more holes in it now than Swiss cheese. Dang-it anyway.

I hooked mine up backwards the first time I tried using it, simply cause i didn't know any better. I think I was working with a pretty thick chunk of iron, cause it just did nothing. Then I read more and found out black goes on the item to be derusted and it started bubbling and worked great. I love it if you are not in a hurry.

I am gonna try filling my gas tank with the water solution, then making some electrode to fit in the filler cap and insulating them from the tank somehow and trying to de rust the inside of my tank. Worth a try

Oddly enough Miller Lite has the same affect.
