hydraulics question

My superA has been growing crankcase oil and looseing hydraulic oil so its no guess were i was going or how. The problems started when i took off the pump.
The two parts of the pump split unexpectantly and parts went everywere, but i got em all collected and pryed off the thin metal part of the pump from the engine. There sat the gear and a nut and a rather dinged up washer. Not good.
So the question is were can i get a rebuild kit for the pump. Mostly i need the gaskets for the houseing to engine as it is thin and may effect the spaceing on the gears and the washer.
Is the washer supposed to be cup shaped? Mine is.
And i need the O-rings but i can get them from the parts house most likely. The parts manual doesn't say if theres a torque spec on that nut either, any ideas?

Thanks again for all the help, Grumpy

If your pump "split unexpectedly" as in came apart while on the tractor, there is definitely something more wrong with it than just a bad oring and a few gaskets.

Your Case-IH dealer has the kit -- there was more than one pump so you may need the number off the pump -- or do a parts search on www.caseih.com and you may be able to identify it. All the kit consists of is seals and gaskets, the pump itself is basically not repairable. The washer is dinged up because it is bent over the nut to keep from losing it, looks like yours was not bent enough. You can probably find a new washer somewhere, don't think there is anything special about it. But, I don't know what you mean by the "thin metal part". I have not had one of those apart for a few years and may have forgotten something. The nut has no torque spec far as I know. Just get it tight and let the washer hold it. From your description you may have other damage -- look at it closely.

thx that explanes how the washer works, i've used those befor and wasn't sure it was supposed to be used that way.
The pump body is in two parts a thick part that bolts to the manifold and the thin part which is next to the engine.
The pump looks good, theres some wear on the shaft and the o-ring needs replaceing, otherwise it just needs cleaning on the outside and be good to go.
I looked up the parts on the case site and looks like i can get what i need, but its a long way to a dealer, maybe i can get them mailed in.
thx for the help Grumpy

If the shaft is worn where the o-ring seats you need a speedy sleeve installed or the new o-ring wont be able to hold the hy oil and it will pump into the ctankcase like the old one. Be sure to bend the washer so the gear wont come loose.
