I have looked through the past messages here and do not see definitive decal placement information for the Farmall "B cultivision". The suggestions are often to buy the "Letter Series Farmalls" book by Guy Fay, which is great to have if you are restoring several tractors. Many of us here may only need information on the location of one or so decals on a particular letter series tractor. For mine and all future readers, could someone scan the pages that pertain to the "B cultivision decal placement" and place it here for all of our benefit? Thanks in advance!

Buy the book, you do not even have to have a tractor to enjoy the book. Leave a 1/2 inch gap between the curve and the decal. All letter series model id round decals are like that.

little more info. you should have 1/2" radius away from rib.for B symbol.the decal should sit 1/2" above rib.and located centrally between fuel tank/ hood seam and the point where the rib begins to curve up.this is pretty much standard placement for letter series tractors

I'm thinkin' you might have misread Steve's question. Your placement is spot of for the oblong "Farmall" decal. I think he was asking about the actual "B" in a circle.

But then again, he may need to know about both. Just trying to avoid confusing him.

Actually any information that pertains to any of the decals listed below would be very helpful. The adhesive backed decal set that I purchased has several:[ 2 (long)farmall, 2(round)B cultivision, H-L-B-D, O-B-D, 2 Be Careful..., Shift pattern, oil level, oil change interval, etc. ]. I am going by memory as to what decals are in the package. Thanks in advance

the hood decal should be spaced equal distance from back of hood to the raised rib where your "B" is located. the"B" should be centerd where you have it now. like equal distance around that raised rib.hope this helps you, because a person sees lots of decals placed impropely.

They should go in the bottom front corner areas of the hood. I don't recall exactly how far from the edge of the decal to the raised rib, but get it as close as you can to being on the same center as the radius of the curve in the rib.

third party image

First off, to scan and post pages of a copyrighted book is against the law, and I'm not going to do that to Guy.

But this is a picture of my Farmall B showing the "Cultivision" decal, maybe it will help answer your question.

Nice lookin' B ya got there, Dave!

And good point on the copying. It'd be one thing if it were an obscure out-of-print reference, but it's entirely another for an in-print book that's still readily available.
