Wegman: Not sure I'll have all the differences, but I have a 1968 buyers guide showing both tractors. Wheatland front axle seems to back 8-10" from Farmall position giving shorter wheelbase. It also shows an external steering cylinder, wheras Farmall in a 56 series had the power steering cylinder built into front bolster.

Platform and rear fenders are different. Wheatland has those big round fenders whereas Farmall has flat tops. Looks like the operator mounts the Wheatland from behind rear wheels. I don't think any of the Wheatlands had 3 point or fast hitch.

This guide doesn't say much about the differences, thus I've probably missed a few. It does show good photos of both Wheatland in 1256 and 856 and good photos of Farmall 756 and 856. I'm quite familiar with Farmall models but not the Wheatlands.
