I have a question When i start up my farmall super a (1947) after about 2 hours of constant running it tries to shut off when i go to shift into a new gear? when i start to let the clutch out it sputters and then it will shut off. Can you help me? I think the problem is in the eletrical in general.

Best way to figure it out is run it till it stops. Then check for spark and fuel. Pull the coil wire and see if you have spark. If you have spark then it has to be a fuel problem. If you don't have spark I would start out by trying a new coil.

If it runs fine then dies nope it not the grease but something like the coil going bad or loosing gas flow

Coil or condensor. Or a piece of crud floating around in your gas tank that eventually blocks the inlet.

Carefully examine your tractor's wiring, I've had wires that moved ever so slightly and touched a short/ground. When I moved something, hit a bump etc. the power was cut off.
