Does anyone know if someone aftermarket makes a fire crater or M&W style piston for a C-123? Preferably in 3&1/4" overbore? I Checked at the Case-ih dealer, they said yes, but wow, were they pricey. Thanks

Yt sells them, or give Brad Marshall a call at 1-888-824-0544. I got a complete kit for mine for a right smart less than 400 from Brad.

Brian: I'll wager that in the long run, you'll not find more economical engine kit than at CaseIH. You going to pay more for those 3-1/4, no matter where you go.

I've been in this business, well over 45 years, probably have had close to 20 kits installed in IH tractors. (5 of those kits went in my Farmall 300) All but two of those kits came from IH. The two that didn't come from IH were damned expensive. If you want my opinion on expensive engine kit, try 560 diesel, 1,200 hours since rebuild, and what I came to view was a hole in the block, large enough for one's head and parts all over a 30' radius, all because sleeves didn't fit the block properly. We all have our moments, trying to be frugal.
