Question: At the carb connection to the mainfold there is a 1/8" pipe fitting that has a plug in it. What is this for? I looked through the manual and it does not show any plug or tell of a use. Anyone know?

When you had a electric failure on the farm and you wanted to milk the cows u would run the engine and hook the vacuum line from the milking machine to that plug and procede to milk the cows.

Funny you say that Gene. Everytime I need a part for these old tractors, I feel I'm the one getting milked. :)

You can check the engine by using a vacuum gauge in this fitting. It also worked to run a milking machine .
