I looked at an IH tractor today. Its very heavy built sits sort of low and has a hough loader frame on it. Sorry no pictures. On the serial number plate it has BK 18765.
So from that can you guys tell me what it is. I looks way to heavy for me to even think about hauling it home plus the engine is locked up and missing parts.
Thanks

FBK - M
WBK - W6
IBK - I6
OBK - O6
FDBK - MD
WDBK - W6 diesel
IDBK - Industrial 6 Diesel

I think that covers it. Im guessing an I-6, Ill bet before the BK it looked like someone stamped it with screwdriver. Did it have a foot throttle?

Didn't see any thing before the BK, oh by the way it was also painted yellow. Also didn't notice if it had a foot throttle. It did have duals on the back and it was just plain built heavy

Im still guessing an I6, since most ofthe ones Ive seen the serial tag on, its hard to see the "I" stmped, its usually off from where the W would be. I cant think of anything right off hand that would seperate it out from the other -6 series tha twould have been easily noticed. There may be one in the photos.

You maybe right. I do remember there was a 6 then a space then the BK18765 so it may be an I6. I could get it for probably less then $300 but my heavy half ton Chev would probably have a hard time moving it. The loader arms are made from 1-1-1/4 inch steel plate and it has a very large hydrolic pump on it

The description of the loader sounds like the Ottawa loader on my I-9. Search on Ottawa. The picture in my post is still active.

Yep looks very much like that one. Even the loader cylinders look a lot like the ones on the one I found today.
