Did my F-20 to 80 ft pounds on the head, ran it till it got warmed up, let it cool, retorqued at 80 and has been fine since.

There aren't any. No factory specs. They just went till "tight". I just re-did my F-20 and brought the head bolts to 85pounds. Some say this is too much and some say not enough. Felt good and tight to me so I stopped before snapping a stud.
I brought my rod caps to 70. Again some say this is too much but it felt right to me. I used plastigage on the rod bearings and kept the clearance at about .002". Haven't started the engine yet ut can turn it over by hand easy enough.

Scott,

I have rebuilt regulars and those are the same specs I have used and have done well by them. Great minds must think alike!
