Many more tractors have been turned over than have cotton pickers.

That is for sure know of a lot of flipped tractors. Dad had hired hand turn over F 20 going up straight, level and smooth dirt road one time we never did figure that one out.

I have a 114A on a Farmall H. not to bad driving unless in 5th gear. Drove it in a parade once. It will bounce in high gear enough that the rear( front on the tractor) would come off the ground. Gets lots of looks in NW MO.

They are not sports cars. If driven sensabilly they were stable. The heads are very heavy and low to the ground so that makes the center of gravety lower than it looks. When driven without the heads they are very top heavy but would only be driven short distances in this configuration for heavy service work which required the heads to be removed.
Usually we received our new pickers by rail, but at times during the 622 production run we needed pickers fast. We would drive the pickers from the factory, thru Memphis, to Walls, Mississippi (about 20-25 miles) where we would load them on picker trailers and haul them to Greenville. This was because you could not get a oversize permit to haul them thru Memphis.

Note, this was on city streets and old highways. There were no freeways thru town then. I would not dare to even get close to a freeway on a cotton picker or most any other piece of farm equipment, then or now.
