I have a 1954 super H that I am thinking about selling, repainted several years ago but looks very nice. Any guess on what a very nice super H should be worth? Original 6 volt system, live hydraulics, fenders, pto shield, mud scrapers, new tires, all new wiring, seat etc. Only issues is the paint shows some bubbles on the fuel tank, I learned later that I could have coated the inside of the tank to prevent this. Again just thinking of selling but need an idea of what it is worth if I do. thanks JM

Gentlemen, I thank you all very much for responding to my post. I have been out of touch with the value stream of these great old tractors and this was a lot of help. Thanks

I would estimate $4500. In this condition these are rather scarce.

$2500 minimum, the price of Stage 2's is increasing. I paid $2250 about 4 years ago for one that was all rust. As stated the paint bubbles have absolutely nothing to to with whether or not the inside was coated. Don't drop the price because of the bubbles. If the tractor runs as good as it looks, it's worth more than $2500. And it has $800-$1000 worth of tires on it.

JM, You need to send another email on this item. Be sure and type in your email address on the 'Add a Reply' form. This will allow anyone who might be interested in the tractor to email you direct. I am interested, and you can see that my email is open. Just click on the 'email' selection on this post. Also maybe include your phone so we could talk about it. it's worth at least $2500 to me , depending on how far away you are.

Yours appears to be a stage II because the battery is under the seat, the live hydraulics, and the Mount holes in the grill. This makes about 5 to 7 hundred difference (in your favor) I would say that it should be priced at about 3000 and negotiate from there. If it ends up at 2000 OK. Much depends on the mechanical condition of the engine/clutch and trans. JimN

Good stage II Super H worth anywhere from $2000 to $4000 depending on who's there and wants it.

Coating the inside of the tank will not prevent bubbles on the paint.

I am not sure myself, that was what I was told, they did not appear for at least a year after painting it.
