Is the weight of a 234 IH picker too heavy for a Super M tractor? I am concerned about the rear axle bearings.

The SM will carry it just be careful. Your big problem is if the corn yeilds over 150bu and is planted too thick you will run out of power.

Don't drive in road gear over rough terrain!

TV, I have used a 234 on an MD or a 450D for many years without a problem. Good luck, Chuck

Don't know, but I picked a million acres with a New Idea on an M. Never had any problems with it. Never had a 234, but would sure like to. Friend of mine has one, and it will pick circles around any I ever seen.

We had a 2MHD mounted on a farmall 400 and broke an axel. A neighbor had a 2MHD mounted on a case 400D. and broke an axel. I know of a 234 mounted on a M Farmall. Not sure if he broke any rear axels or not. Armand

We broke the axle on a 450 with a 234 hanging on it.
