Drain the system and fill with vinegar and let it set for a few days then back flush it can do a great job.

You need to look down into the radiator and see if the tubes are blocked in the radiator. It may need to be rodded by your local radiator shop.

On a car where you can feel the surface of the radiator with your hand. You can feel whether the
coolant is circulating if the radiator is hot all over or cool around the bottom. As soon as your tractor over heats shutoff the engine and see if you can touch the bottom hose. If its cool or just warm there's blockage in the radiator. Hal

Does this tractor have a water pump? Is the water impeller intact? Is it tight on the shaft? I had a combine that had a plastic impeller that had broken, no water flow so large heat difference between the top and bottom radiator tanks.

Have you recently replaced the water pump?
Is it the right impeller?
Have you replaced the gasket on the water pump? Could the new gasket be covering the ports?

Forgot to add, could the bottom hose be "sucking" shut either externally or internally? The internal lining of the hose can seperate and suck shut.

Is your thermostat installed with the right side up? What is the temp difference between the top and bottom tanks when it is hot? 12 to 14 degrees is about what you should see. More, flow is too slow thru the core. Less, air flow is not enough.

Take the thermostat out and see if it still overheats.

What is the actual temprature? If you fill the radiator full, it will push some coolant out due to expansion as the coolant heats up. Depending on the tractor, the coolant should be 2 inches or so below the bottom of the filler neck.

(Sorry, if you have all ready tried these things)
