Spool valve plumbed up backwards, maybe?

I'm putting a TwinDraulic loader on a Cub. It came with a one-way Gresen hydraulic valve that didn't have the IN and OUT ports labeled.

The loader drops slightly before it starts to raise, and there's a funky vibration in the whole tractor as it raises.

Could it be that I have the ports plumbed backwards? I'd change them around, but I don't want to make the mess unless I'm reasonably sure that it'll solve the problem.

Hmm, I have it plumbed correctly then...
There is an external reservoir plumbed up to the fill plug for the one-way cylinders, and that is vented to open air. If I remove the fill plug, I will end up with about a gallon of Hytran on my pants :)

I've done several cycles of the loader, and it's only getting worse...

All of the gresen hyd. valves I have ever seen have the inlet on the left side as you are looking at the lever end with the Cylinder hoses going up.Hope this can help.

Sounds like you have air trapped in the system./ Try leaving the fill plug out of the resivoir and work loader up and down a few times.
