I have 3 farmall tractors. All 3 12 volt. None will turn over in cold weather. Do i need batteries with more cold cranking amps? Noticed other old tractors around here starting and pushing snow.

What viscosity oil is in the tractor? Should have 10W-30, 5W-20, or some straight 10W oil for easier winter cranking.
If you still have old gasoline (more than 2 months old) in the tank, the easily ignited fumes have long ago evaporated and what is left will not light up easily when cold.

You have either poor connections, poor cables, poor batteries, or starters in need of rebuild.

My H is 6-volt and will start when it is 30 below zero with 30 weight oil in it.

What you need is a manual, since your not prepared to tell us how cold it is where you live. The manual will tell you what oils to use at various temperatures.

Very likely your tractors require some battery cable maintenence. A lot of folks throw out good batteries, when in fact the problem is nothing more than cables, (dirty, loose, cracked, etc). Those same folks quite often find the new battery dead in three weeks.

I have 30 weight in all of mine, and all of them started yesterday and today. 8 degrees yesterday and 4 this morning. Not sure what the problem may be, but I dought that oil is it unless it is way below zero. The SC barely turned over, but it fired and ran. The M whizzed right over with that 850 CCA battery on it. Only have 550 on the SC, so that may be the problem with yours.

Synthetic 10-30 really helps in the colder weather.Check all connections it doesnt hurt to pull starter to see if any bugs made nest in there.

If it won't turn the tractor over, something sure is wrong. Won't turn it at all or cranks it real slow? If not at all I would have a hard look at my cables first and then my battery. If real slow, I would put it on the charge and/or get it tested. FYI when I was having troubles of this nature it was high summer and the battery tested fine the first time I took it in....but it was a bad battery. HTH

As old said, what do you have? I have a Farmall B that is in unheated shed, but starts at 15 degrees, at least that is as cold as I have tried to start it. You need good batteries, good cable connections, and a good starter.

You need to use 5-30 oil during the winter and check those battery connections and clean them that's been suggested. Hal
PS: An engine heater will make starting easier too. Hook it on a timer. You need a good tuneup
too. Points, plugs, condenser and new plug wires if they're cracked from age.

Probably need a thinner oil or a way to warm them up some. A good tune up also goes a long ways.
