O/T Probably should post this on implement alley but there is more activity here. Going tomorrow to look at a 4 bottom IH rollover plow (model 155 I think). Are these good plows? Any issues with these, any thing I should check carefully? What is the smallest IH tractor that will handle the weight?

Oh sure,

Just the newer version of the standby "Grandpa" 145. Probably the best plow ever built.

IH plows just plain pull hard tho.

If it is the 18" version, it will take a minimum of 100 honest horsepower to even begin to pull it.

I've pulled mine with the 966 in fouth gear, but it works the snot out of it. Also, you'll need a full rack of 100 pounders up front.

My 966 won't ever pull 4-16's, although I'm sure it could. .
