Looking for any info on this machine. It has a tranny problem with 1st and reverse. Does this machine share any common parts with other tractors? It has a 4 cyl gas start diesel engine that runs, with a running spare. Has a loader, not a blade. Any Idea what it could be worth? Mostley would like to know if the parts are available for the tranny and steering clutches, and what wheeled tractor it is related to. Mikethird party image

TD9's all had a problem with the first and reverse gears. So much so that at one time there were after market gears available. The main trouble is with the first slider gear on the spline shaft. It is simply underbuilt. When it goes, it effects reverse gear as well because the reverse slider meshes with the reverse idler. The gears from a wheeled tractor will not work. Crawlers and wheeled tractors have an entirely different transmission.

You might go ask over at the red power forum in the "construction" section. Lots of those guys there use and collect the IH crawlers.

It's related to a WD9 tractor. most of the engine is the same. I have no idea if anything else would interchange
