Bee Gee pump for a TD-6?

I'm the new owner of a 1940's TD-6 that still has the factory cork in all the threaded holes of the tractor.
I really would like to installed a "beegee" pump on this tractor but have never heard of beegee until the guy that sold it to me mentioned it. Where would the "Beegee" pump mount up to?
Also, how do I know what model beegee pump mates to a TD6? Where do I find them? Can I find them online, with pictures?

Also, I see a couple of plates on the back of the tractor, one is a trapezoid shaped plate in the middle, and then there are two identical round plates on each side in the back that had a little thumb and finger type tab. What are each of these for?

Where are you located? I have a blade & pump (I think not BG) and all the parts for a front mount. I also have the TD6 it came from but unlikely I will put the blade back on it. If you are interested let me know

Sheldon,
The pump is front mounted for live power--you can lift the blade with master clutch disengaged.
I would take $500 for the blade,pump and all of the associated parts. The hyd cyls are rusty but can be brought back

I live in Santa Rosa but my equipment is mostly in Healdsburg. I put together a pile of pieces when I bought it. I never did get the blade on but the parts should all be there, including a manual.

Sheldon, you made me curious about the BeeGee pump reference I have seen over at Redpower. I did a quick search in their archives and it does appear to be a hydraulic pump set up. It looks like it might be driven off the rear PTO but I am not sure. As Warder said, many folks drive the pumps off the front drive (crank) shaft. I have done it on a W-6 and there also is one already on my TD6. It requires some parts and/or fabrication but it has the advantage of being full-time (live) hydraulic power compared to the PTO driven variety that typically operates only with the clutch engaged.

I finally found out why the BeeGee reference doesn't click with so many people. I called a local dealership (about 20 minute drive for me) and this little tiny shop owns the patent on this pump and I don"t think their name is out there enough.
The name of the dealership is Associated Tractor and they are located in Stockton, CA.

The BG pumps aren't cheap I'm thinking. After talking with a parts guy, he needs to wait for the Manager to come back from vacation to get me a quote. With my experience, whenever a "quote" is required... that usually means big money. haha.

Maybe you mistook B-E (Bucyrus-Erie) for BeeGee. I would have taken a picture of the one on my TD-9 dozer but it is buried behind the heavy rock grill. Same goes for the pump on my I-9.

Anyway you should have something that looks like this at the front of your tractor:

A parts book may show you what you need for your tractor. If you have a salvage yard that specializes in construction equipment nearby, I'll bet you'll find something that works.

Dave gave you good information, both about visiting redpower.com and Binder Books for a good collection of manuals. I have seen conversations at Redpower about BeeGee pumps and can"t recall if that is an after-market replacement for the diesel injection pump or an add-on hydraulic. I can tell you from my TD6 that the covers you refer to are the center cover that covers the opening that is used if a pto is installed. The 2 on each side of that center cover are 2 inspection covers for the steering clutches and brakes. Happy new year and good luck

A couple of recommendations while neatly tip toeing around the questions. First, the construction forum on red power website is a must visit for this machine. Some of the engine stuff is relevant here (I dearly hope) but many of the guys over there are really sharp on IH crawlers. Second, Binder sells a manual package for this machine....operators, service. Not cheap at around $100 but well worth the investment.
