Hi im new to this site but i'd like to know if anyone has any information on installing a v8 on a farmall i have a 460 that i want to put on a farmall m any help would be appreciated thanks john

It sure will as there have been many of them done just need an adapter plate made then work out the clutch and input shaft. Over the yrs 350chevys and even 429 fords have been installed. Go for it

I installed a 440 chrysler in a M. You will need to have the origional adapter plate drilled/converted to line up for the new motor. You will need to have a steel flywheel made as the cast flywheel won't take over 3000 rpms or so I've been told. You will have to use a electric fan as the v-8 will sit much lower in the frame than the stock.

My M has an estimated 400+ hp is very competative pulling at 6000 rpm with 18.4X38 tires.
