on this 240 i got, i was thinking bout making a 3 pt for it. i have the hard mount on the bush hog to go from fast hitch to 3 pt, but, if i fabricate a mount for the top link and bolt it to the upper rear deck, there is a pad with three tapped holes under the hydraulic lines, then fabbed up a couple prongs with cat1 and cat 2 holes in it for the fast hitch arms, will that work ok ? i have a 3 pt dirt scoop and a 5 ft woods 3 pt finish mower i could then use on this rascal.

We had a 240U with fast hitch and we bought an aftermarket 3 point kit in the 70īs that contained the lower prongs and a cast iron plate with clevis (that mounted in place of the cover plate directly above the PTO) for the top link. I donīt know if the same setup would work on a Farmall 240.

Thats about how we did it on a 340. We did make it so there was 3 or 4 holes in it so we could vaire the hook up some which does help with some stuff makeing so you can lower or lift it more
