This thing sits in a shed a lot then gets used hard for a couple weeks at a time. I fired it up (after a couple months of sitting) to push some snow with the blade and noticed that the engine seems to be under a "light" load. When I use the hydraulics (rear lift, loader etc..) the governor drops off and the engine seems to run easier. When all the levers are in the "nuetral" position the engine appears to be under load again. I have an IT manual but haven't started digging through it yet. I'm assuming this will call for an adjustment to the releif valve-what does this job amount too?

That is what we mean as under high pressure. The first thing I wound check is the valve spools to see if one is half way between single and double action. To change bewteen single and double you just turn the spool of the valve a little. There is a roll pin through spool on top of the valve body. You will find this on right side of tractor in front of steering wheel. May have to take right hood off to be able to see it good.
