kid gave me one of those steel tractor models yesterday, it bases [ loosly] on the old f series farmalls, but this one has round top fenders and a wide front with flat spoke steel wheels front and back, was there ever such a rig in the real world?

As Steve said check the photos at the left. It is most likely a W-30 (The "standard" version of the F-30) or a 10-20 (Very similiar to the W-30 without a water pump and continuious fenders)

My F-12 has flat spoke steel wheels... and the F-series did come with rounded fenders... and a wide front was an option.

But it could be a model of the standard tractors built during that time, the 10-20 and 15-30/22-36.

Search the photos at left to see examples...
